Thumbprint is currently producing new portfolios of prints by Anish Kapoor, published by the Paragon Press. Many of the prints utilise the new exposure unit that was recently installed. The machine is capable of exposing Polymer Gravure and photo-etching plates up to 740 x 980 mm and can produce stunning quality Polymer gravures of both photographic and computer generated imagery and hand drawn positives, by utilising the latest technology from the commercial printing world. In line with our philosophy of encouraging the development of printmaking in these times when we see the closure of many college printmaking departments, we are offering work placement schemes for Art school graduates.
